CEREMONY

.
Series „Ceremony” directly derived from the „Polish Madonna”. It refers to the folk costumes and its importance divinity and dignity. The work focuses on ornamentation costumes to look like they Dresses „founded” on the holy icons. The contrast between the body and garment form should be clearly and precisely cut ornament from a person-such as is obtained with images of the Virgin Mary. Figures presented in a rigid, unemotional set posed for pictures as if they do not interfere and do not be a competition for the costume-which is the primary element here. It is God which gives meaning and dignity of character. The pictures do not dominate the real colors taken from the original costumes, but monochrome, slightly subdued-symbolizing the tradition that has passed, clothes that no longer meet now his former role. Are established then only after it to bring up old memories, or to begin to cultivate new habits of their grandparents. With this color I also want to move away from the typical folkloric significance of clothing, but give them the qualities of dignity. This is because in the case of monochromatic outfits-worn during Holy Communion., Christening or wedding. They symbolize innocence and purity, and divinity.
